Promotion Monday, June 16th

• Date/Time:  Monday, June 16th, 1:30PM.

• Location:  Promotion will be held in the Discovery Gymnasium.

• Student Attire:  Red class T-Shirt or they may dress up

• Tickets:  No tickets required. Students may invite an unlimited number of guests.

• Parking:
  - Park on Kensington Street (north of 36th Street) or 36th Street (west of Kensington) to participate in the car parade. 

  - Please do not park in the Discovery/Williamsburg lots or on 36th Street between Kensington and Harrison.

• Photo Booth for Students in Dining Commons/Veranda (2:10-3:00)

  - Please pickup your students at the Solar Plaza area at 3:00.

   

• Car Parade (3:15)

  • The Car Parade will begin immediately following the promotion celebration. The parade will pass through the Discovery car loop. 

  • All PREK-4 Explorers will assemble on the Discovery car loop at the start of the parade. 

  • We invite families to decorate their cars. 

  • We encourage ‘carpooling’ for Explorers whose families can’t attend promotion and/or the car parade. Please reach out to your student’s teacher if you need assistance with coordination.

  • Students do not need to return to school after the car parade.

Last Day of School Clap-out

• Date/Time: Wednesday, June 18th, 1:15 PM (Early Release Day)

• Logistics: 

  • Grade 5 students will process through the school for the final time as fifth grade Explorers! Students and teachers in grades K-4 will clap for grade 5 students.

  • We ask that families assemble at Door 1 on the Solar Plaza to clap for their students.
