To celebrate the achievements of our outgoing 5th graders, we are organizing end-of-year activities that include a promotion ceremony, celebration with DJ the evening of the promotion ceremony, a field trip / pool party at Upton Hills, a photo memory wall, a class t-shirt, class photo, a community service project, and a class gift to Discovery. To cover these costs, we are requesting $30 per each graduating 5th grader.

A lot of these activities cost money, and while the PTA will be helping to cover the cost of the field trip/pool party, we are asking that each family contribute $30 per graduating 5th grader for promotion activities payable through the PTA website or by check made payable to “Discovery PTA” and having your 5th grader give this check to their teacher/drop off the check in the main office. Please pay this by April 30, 2019.
