Bike, Walk, and Roll to School Day
Wednesday, May 3rd, is Bike & Roll to School Day! We encourage all students to try to bike, scoot, or walk to school that day. There are bike racks located near the flagpole of the main lot, as well as a rack next to the bus loop near Williamsburg to lock up your bikes. After you have secured your bike or scooter, make your way next to the field to the blue tent to meet a member of the PE team to receive your participation charm. Walkers will also receive their own charm for participating. The tent will close promptly at 8:55AM. Reach out to Mr. Duffy (john.duffy@apsva.us) with questions.

The parent survey is a great opportunity to improve walking and bicycling for students!
If you're a parent or caregiver of a student in grades K through 12, take our Spring 2023 Parent and Caregiver Survey, the survey will be available through May 5. It is available in English and Spanish, survey only takes about 10 minutes to complete.
Your responses will help local SRTS coordinators and Virginia SRTS learn about the current state of walking and bicycling in Virginia and what needs to be done to support safe walking and bicycling. You can also help spread the word in your school community with these social media graphics, which you can find here.
