Friends Don't Let Friends Miss Out on School News
Communication is going to be a key part of getting through this unusual school year. We plan to send out lots of helpful dates and information every two weeks in the PTA Newsletter. If you know anyone at Discovery who isn't already on our list, please remind them to update their Membership Toolkit account and opt in so we can keep them in the loop. You do not have to join the PTA to get these emails, just update your account and opt in. Don't forget to add your child's teacher in Toolkit so their classmates can find them.
Other good ways to stay in the know include the Discovery PTA Twitter (@DiscoveryESPTA) and Facebook (@DiscoveryElemPTA) feeds.

Reflections
In the time of COVID-19, participation in the arts is more important now than ever before. National PTA's Reflections program provides students with opportunities for recognition and access to the arts to boost confidence and success in the arts and in life.

Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
Top winners from the local level have the opportunity to advance to the council, state and national level. The student-selected theme for the 2020-2021 program year is
